Our Work

At AoK PM Solutions, we take pride in specialising in the project management of self-build housing projects. We understand that every client has their own unique vision for their dream home, and we enjoy working closely with our clients and our dedicated team to bring these ideas and visions to life. Located not far from Waterford, Ireland, we have a deep appreciation for the local building landscape. This is reflected in our work as we strive to create homes that not only meet the functional needs of our clients but also sit seamlessly in the surrounding environment almost like it was always there.

Below is a sample of our ever-expanding portfolio and very different types of projects. We have have enjoyed working closely with everyone on every project. For any queries, get in touch.

Old shed conversion inc. farmhouse restoration

This conversion included a new extension that was required to interconnect both buildings. It was completed in 2 phases. This was an unconventional project, as it started with the shed being converted first. This was definitely something we don't normally do, but it was an unusual challenge that we enjoyed taking on. As with most old building conversions, a number of unforeseen problems needed to be resolved that required structural and engineering solutions along the way.

New build—2-story house inc. garage

This new build sits on what was a rural field used for tillage crops. It sits seamlessly into this rural country setting. The project incorporated beautiful stone walls and the maintenance of rural ditches to maintain the original stone features and countryside qualities that were present before the house commenced. The external finish and landscaping included 350 sq metres if building stone and 150 sq metres of limestone paving, the final finishing touch was the installation of a beautiful tarmac driveway.

New Build – 2 story with garage incorporated... ongoing project

This is an exciting new build that was awaiting window install in April '25. The window installation was required prior to initiating any further internal works. The team is excited to see how this project develops over the summer of 2025.

New Build - Perfectly proportioned Bungalow

This was a challenging build as a layer of ground rock was discovered during initial groundworks for the foundations. As a result, a technical solution that incorporated a raft foundation was required to manage the challenging underground conditions. This project also required the use of rock-breaking specialists who were on-site for three weeks. The engineering solutions and the work required will definitely be worth the effort. It's nice to see clients continuing to adopt bungalow designs.

Renovation - Semi-detached townhouse

This was a project that was different from most self-built properties and proved to be a specialised project, with extensive planning and organisational requirements. The team managed all aspects of the planning and management of building trades on behalf of our client. This allowed tradesmen to dedicate their time to building tasks, thus eliminating any distracting activities that could jeopardise a tightly planned programme of work. This was a demolish-and-rebuild project, with a home office/music room built to the rear. Work had to commence from the rear of the property outwards, as access was very limited due to the adjoining house.  The team wishes our clients and their new neighbours every happiness in their newly renovated home.

New Build - 2 story house

This was another fantastic new build on behalf of our clients. It is situated nicely below road level. It was a great project, and it was a pleasure working on this build. We wish our clients many happy years and happy memories in their new home.
